Feb. 23 fireside

Hi everyone!

On Feb. 23, we will have a fireside at 6:00 p.m. in the RS room.

We'll be in and out in an hour or less. We will also have some refreshments.

The objective is to educate and inspire the youth and their parents on the DTG program. We'll refocus on that and integrate that more tightly into our teaching and Sunday activities, and we need to help the parents know we can only do so much as leaders. It has to be adopted and supported at home as well to really work the way it should.

We will also inform them as to upcoming Scouting activities (summer camp dates, how much $$ we will request each boy provides for the Council camp, etc.).

I'd like to propose the attached agenda and get feedback.

I'd love to have the Quorum Presidents/Assistants lead the DTG part. That would require that the YM Pres. work with them so they are ready to share what the program is and does for boys and families. Tje Pres. would probably have to step in and help as needed.

Gary and Bryce can lead the BSA part; would be nice if we could get the senior patrol leader to introduce them or help with that discussion as well.
