Young Men's update (3-21-16)

Hi everyone!

This Wednesday, please plan to meet at the church at 7:00 p.m.  We will have a special activity with the combined Young Men--we will be hosting a basketball shoot around and inviting some young men we'd love to see more of . . . !

SCOUTING FOR FOOD last SATURDAY went well. Thanks to all those who came and helped out, and also thanks to all those who contributed!

Young Men's update (3-16-16)

Hi everyone!

Tonight, please plan to meet at the church at 7:00 p.m.  We have a combined activity with the Young Women (we are creating a temporary mini-golf course in different rooms).

SCOUTING FOR FOOD is this SATURDAY (March 19). Please be at Holman's house in Murray Bluffs II no later than 9:00 a.m. on Sat (the Archbold's old house).

Young Men's update (3-9-16)

Hi everyone!

Tonight, please plan to meet at the church at 7:00 p.m. 

We had a change in schedule. We were planning to have t

he older Scouts go over Eagle packets (what is required for Eagle projects, etc.). We had requested all parents of (soon-to-be) Eagle candidates attend for the 30 minutes it will take to go over these packets. This activity will be rescheduled...

because...

we were alerted SCOUTING FOR FOOD is quickly approaching (March 19). So we will be putting door hangers on the doors of homes in the ward alerting them to this service opportunity.

So there is no need for parents to attend this evening.

Young Men's update (3-2-16)

Hey there!

Last night some young men who still need the Citizenship in the Nation went to Bishop Anderson's house and watched/discussed the news. Only 3-4 young men showed up, so those that need the merit badge will need to do this requirement on their own. Thanks!

Tonight, some of the older Scout met with Matt Lingwall and other YM leaders at the church to pass off the cooking and camping merit badges.

Next Wednesday, please plan to meet at the church at 7:00 p.m. 

It is a Scout night, so Brett and other leaders will have something for the younger scouts. The older Scouts will be going over Eagle packets (what is required for Eagle projects, etc.). We request all parents of (soon-to-be) Eagle candidates attend for the 30 minutes it will take to go over these packets.

We will also discuss some basic information about Summer Camp (with more to follow as summer arrives) The dates for this camp are July 13-16.
