Good Morning,

Just as a remind the YM will be meeting Wednesday  at the church at 7:00.  Younger scouts (ages 12-13) will be working on digital technology.  Older scouts (Eagle Candidates) should bring their Eagle packets to work on.

Young Men's update (5-23-16)

Hi everyone!

Last Wed., those who attended the combined YW/YM "mini mission" experience had a great time! Thanks for those who prepared and attended the activity.

This Wednesday, we will meet at the church at 5:00 p.m. and go on a hike (Willow Heights--see link below).

ACTION REQUIRED--Young Men's update (5-16-16)

Hi everyone!

Last week, the YM discussed Scout Camp and Varsity Camp preparations. Parents were invited to come and learn about the details. If you were not able to attend (or were able to attend but have additional questions), please feel free to approach Matt Lingwall, Brett Ho,man, or a member of the YM Presidency and we'll happily assist!

Wednesday night is combined YW/YM at 7:00. We'll meet at the Church and have a "Mini Mission" activity. Please have your youth come dressed in missionary attire.

For this activity, we are asking one or both parents to write their testimony on a 5x7 piece of paper or note card and seal it up in an envelope. On the envelope, please write "For...." (insert the name of your child). We are asking you to alert a member of the YM Pres. when completed and we can pick it up or you  can drop it off at one of our houses.

Young Men's update (5-10-16)

Hi everyone!

Last week, the YM continued filling out their Eagle Scout packets. They are making good progress!

Tomorrow night is a Scout night, and Matt Lingwall and other Scout leaders will be prepared to discuss Varsity camp preparations to Kings Peak (and a potential camp for the younger Scouts as well). 

This will be for all leaders, young men, and their parents. 

Please plan to attend at 7:00 to learn of the plans for Varsity summer camp (July 13-16).

Young Men's update (5-3-16)

Hi!

Last week, the YM had a fun combined activity where we all played frisbee golf (see attached picture). We had a great time!

Tomorrow night is a Scout night, please plan to meet at the church at 7:00 p.m.  We will go over Eagle packets for the young men getting ready for their projects (so please remind them to bring their packets).

We'll have other Scouting activities for the young men not working on their Eagles at this time.

On 5-11 (a week from Wed.), Matt Lingwall and other Scout leaders will be prepared to discuss summer camp preparations. This will be for all leaders, young men, and their parents. Please plan to attend at 7:00 to learn of the plans for summer camp.
