YM Activity

Good Morning,

As a reminder this Wednesday we will be meeting at the church at 6:30 - we will meet up and head off for frisbee golf.

A Special Thanks for everyone for their help with SCOUTING FOR FOOD this past week.

Young Men's update: 3-14-17

Hi everyone!

We are hoping you are enjoying the warm weather and longer daylight hours. Just a quick update for this week . . .

Wednesday activity: Scouting for food flyers will be handed out. Please note we will be picking up food on Sat. morning. We are telling all ward members to please use a paper or plastic bag they have in their home and have non-perishable food out by their curbs, front doors, or mailboxes (where it is easy to see from the street as we drive by) no later than 9 a.m. this Sat. morning. Thank you!

Trek reminder:

The stake leaders have arranged for a Certified Physician's Assistant to complete physicals for those who want to use him. The cost is only $20.

The Trek Physical forms and scout forms (if you want/need both) should be filled out before the youth arrive. The Trek physical form can be found at www.riverstake.com.

DATES FOR THE PHYSICALS ARE:
-March 16 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (at the 1300 W Building for the 6, 7, 8 wards) 
 -March 23 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (at the Stake Center for the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 wards).

PLEASE LET YOUR YW AND YM LEADERS KNOW ASAP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED!

Just a reminder we will meet a the church this Wednesday at 7:00 to assembly toys for an Eagle Scout Project. 

Also, keep in mind High Adventure in the Tetons is set for July 10-13.  $100 deposit is required, $50 by March 15th, and $40 by May 1st.

Good Morning,

We will be meeting at the church tonight at 6:30 for combined youth Volley "Wally" Ball Activities.  Where athletic clothes and tennis shoes.  We'll play from 7:00 to 8:00.  A fun activity for all - bring a friend!

The YM need to be at the location by 7:00 p.m., so please meet at the Church at 6:30 sharp. We will leave shortly thereafter.

Good Morning,

First, as a reminder we will be having YM at 7:00 this Wednesday.  The plan is to go to the Fast Kart Speedway.

Second, as a followup, the Jackson Hole High Adventure Follow-Up is scheduled for July 10-13.  Activities will include white water rafting, mountain biking, and canoeing.  As mentioned, there will be a down deposit of $100. The first $50 is due by March 15th (please place in an offering slip, marked in the other column as High Adventure).  The second $50 is due by May 1st.  If you have any financial concerns please see Brother Steve Backus.

Thanks to all the youth and leaders that attended the WINTER QUARTERS WALK yesterday! What a fun time (and great weather to boot)!

Max Holman and the Priests are helping arrange the combined YM activity for Wed. Right now, we are planning on going to Fast Kart or another similar facility. More details to come soon!
